Description of Change: A new piston, a piston ring, and a tube assembly are being introduced. The new piston eliminates contact between the land for the second piston ring and the liner.

The new piston ring has been designed with a wider gap to reduce possible carbon buildup.

The new oil jet tube is designed to work with the new piston. This new design will eliminate any possible contact between the piston and the tube.

Adaptable To: The new 20R-0193 Cylinder Pack Gp replaces the existing 10R-6008 Piston and Rod Gp. The new cylinder pack group is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers that are listed above. Refer to Table 1 for a full list of the parts included in the new 20R-0193 Cylinder Pack Gp.

Also, the new 355-6043 Tube As is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers that are listed above.

Note: The 319-6716 Piston Body As utilizes a different oil jet than the 367-5181 Piston Body As or 357-5029 Piston Body As

Note: Due to the difference in weight of the new pistons and the existing pistons, the new piston must not be matched with the existing pistons.

Note: 367-5181 Piston Body As and 357-5029 Piston Body As that have a compression ration of 16.5:1 are the same design and are similar in weight can be mixed in the engine. 319-6716 Piston Body As cannot be mixed with the 367-5181 Piston Body As or 357-5029 Piston Body As .This change if effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 2.
