Description of Change: The hydraulic supply hose across the articulation hitch may contact the mount for the steering cylinder during a full right hand turn. The continued contact with the mount may cause hose damage and hose failure. The affected hoses are used on the Hand Metering Unit Steering (HMU) machines and the Command Control Steering (CCS) machines.
Adaptable To: The 243-2532 Hose As (1) is used on the HMU machines. The 249-2503 Hose As (2) is used on the CCS machines. The 273-3241 Bracket As (3) has been updated with the new location of the bolt holes. The new location of the bolt hole will provide clearance for the 243-2532 Hose As (1) or the 249-2503 Hose As (2) during all turning conditions. If either of the hose assemblies has failed replace the hose assembly and the 273-3241 Bracket As (3). See Illustration 1.
