Installation Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


Note: Inspect the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets. Replace the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets that are worn or damaged.

Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

  1. Use a suitable lifting device in order to install gear pump (7). The weight of gear pump (7) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

  2. Install bolts (8).

  3. Connect hose assembly (6).

  4. Install bolts (4) in order to connect tube assembly (5).

  5. Connect hose assembly (3) and hose assembly (2).

  6. Connect hose assembly (1).

  7. Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil - Change".

End By:

  1. Remove the retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install".

  2. Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
