Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the platforms. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Platforms - Remove and Install".
2. Remove the hydraulic cylinder (extender). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Extender Extend) - Remove and Install".

1. Remove bolts (3) from the extender frame. Remove bolts (4) and flange (1) from tube assembly (5) .

2. Remove the bolts and slide retainer plate (2) onto tube assembly (5) .

3. Remove bolts (10) from the extender frame. Remove bolts (9) and flange (7) from tube assembly (8) .

4. Remove the bolts and slide retainer plate (6) onto tube assembly (8 ) .

5. Remove the bolts and slide retainer plate (11) onto tube assembly (8) .

6. Remove the bolts and slide retainer plate (12) onto tube assembly (5) .

7. Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to tube assembly (8). Push the end of tube assembly (8) inside the extender frame. Remove retainer plate (6) from tube assembly (8) .

8. Remove tube assembly (8) from the inner main frame. Remove retainer plate (11) from tube assembly (8) .

9. Remove tube assembly (8) .

10. Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to tube assembly (5). Push the end of tube assembly (5) inside the extender frame. Remove retainer plate (2) from tube assembly (5) .

11. Remove tube assembly (5) from the inner main frame. Remove retainer plate (12) from tube assembly (5) .

12. Remove tube assembly (5) .

13. Remove bushings (13) from both tube supports on the main frame.

14. Attach a suitable lifting device to the main frame. The weight of the main frame is approximately 1900 kg (4200 lb). Remove the main frame from the extenders.

Installation Procedure

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the main frame. The weight of the main frame is approximately 1900 kg (4200 lb). Install the main frame to the extenders.

2. Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to tube assembly (5). Install tube assembly (5) into the main frame. Install retainer plate (2) onto tube assembly (5). Pull the end of tube assembly (5) to the extender frame.

3. Install bushings (13) and retainer plate (12) to tube assembly. Slide tube assembly (5) into the main frame.

4. Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to tube assembly (8). Install the end of tube assembly (8) into the main frame. Install retainer plate (6) onto tube assembly (8). Pull the end of tube assembly (8) to the extender frame.

5. Install tube assembly (8) slightly into the main frame. Install bushings (13) and retainer plate (11) to tube assembly (8). Slide tube assembly (8) into the main frame.

6. Install bushings (13) for tube assembly (8) and tube assembly (5) into the main frame.

7. Install the bolts and retainer plate (11) and (12) to the main frame.

8. Install retainer plate (6) and the bolts to tube assembly (8 ) .

9. Install flange (7) and bolts (9) to tube assembly (8). Install bolts (10) to the extender frame.

10. Install retainer plate (2) and the bolts to tube assembly (5) .

11. Install flange (1) and bolts (4) to tube assembly (5). Install bolts (3) to the extender frame.

End By:

1. Install the hydraulic cylinder (extender). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Extender Extend) - Remove and Install".
2. Install the platforms. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Platforms - Remove and Install".
