Engine Enclosure (Hood) - Install
Installation Procedure
- Attach a suitable lifting device to engine enclosure (24). The weight of engine enclosure (24) is approximately 408 kg (900 lb). Use the suitable lifting device in order to position engine enclosure (24) to the machine.

- Install bolts (24). Repeat on the opposite side.

- Connect ground shut off switch (26) .
- Install bolts (23). Repeat on the opposite side.

- Position the circuit breaker panel and install bolts (21) .
- Connect harness assembly (22) and harness assembly (20) .
- Position precleaner (18). Position clamp (19). Tighten clamp (19) to a torque of 5 N·m (44 lb in).

- Position harness assembly (14) through the hole in plate (16). Install grommet (17) around harness assembly (14) .

- Position plate (16) and install bolts (15) .
- Connect harness assembly (14) and harness assembly (13) .

- Position harness assemblies (12) .

- Install hose (11) and connect clip (10). Install bolts (9) .

- Connect hose (8). Connect elbow (7) and position clamp (6). Tighten clamp (6) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in). Connect hose (5) .

- Position ejector assembly (1). Position clamp (4) and tighten clamp (4) .
Note: Be sure that the gap in clamp (4) does not align with the slots in ejector assembly (1) .

- Connect hose (3) to ejector assembly (1). Position hose clamp (2). Tighten hose clamp (2) to a torque of 5 N·m (44 lb in).
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
End By: Disconnect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
