Installation Procedure

1. Install O-ring seal (7). Install O-ring seal (6).

2. Adjust Tooling (A), as shown.

3. Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to final drive assembly (2). The weight of final drive assembly (2) is approximately 953 kg (2100 lb). Position Tooling (A), as shown. Install final drive assembly (2). Install bolts (3) and bolts (4). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 745 ± 88 N·m (550 ± 65 lb ft).

4. Lubricate the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 406 ± 68 N·m (300 ± 50 lb ft). Then, turn bolts (1) for an additional 120 degrees.

5. Fill the final drive and the transmission with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual , "Final Drive and Transmission Oil - Change".

6. Install the ladder on the left side. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ladder - Install ".

7. Move the counterweight to the operating position.

1. Install the drive axles. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Axle - Install ".

2. Connect the track. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Connect ".
