  1. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position cab (14) on the machine. The weight of the cab is approximately 850 kg (1874 lb).

  1. Install bolt (16) that fastens cab tilt cylinder (17) to the bottom of the cab.

  1. Install pin (15) on both sides of the cab.

  1. Rotate the valve on cab tilt pump (13) to the RAISE position.

  1. Insert the pump handle into cab tilt pump (13). Move the handle upward and move the handle downward in order to raise the cab.

  1. Install pin (12) on both sides of the cab.

  1. Connect harness assembly (10) and harness assembly (11) .

  1. Position cable assembly (7) on the propel pump and install pin (8) and the cotter pin. Tighten nut (9) .

  1. Connect hose assemblies (5) to metering pump (6) .

  1. Connect hose assemblies (2) .

  1. Install hoses (3) and tighten the hose clamps.

  1. Install clamps (4) that fasten hose assemblies (2) and hoses (3) to the bottom of the cab.

  1. Lower the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Tilt".

  1. Open two valves (1) .

  1. Evacuate the air conditioner system. Charge the air conditioner system. The correct charge is 1.3 kg (2.9 lb). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.

    Note: After the cab has been installed, fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

    Note: After the cab has been installed, check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
