Installation Procedure

- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position cab (14) on the machine. The weight of the cab is approximately 850 kg (1874 lb).

- Install bolt (16) that fastens cab tilt cylinder (17) to the bottom of the cab.

- Install pin (15) on both sides of the cab.

- Rotate the valve on cab tilt pump (13) to the RAISE position.

- Insert the pump handle into cab tilt pump (13). Move the handle upward and move the handle downward in order to raise the cab.
- Install pin (12) on both sides of the cab.

- Connect harness assembly (10) and harness assembly (11) .

- Position cable assembly (7) on the propel pump and install pin (8) and the cotter pin. Tighten nut (9) .

- Connect hose assemblies (5) to metering pump (6) .

- Connect hose assemblies (2) .

- Install hoses (3) and tighten the hose clamps.
- Install clamps (4) that fasten hose assemblies (2) and hoses (3) to the bottom of the cab.
- Lower the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Tilt".
- Open two valves (1) .

- Evacuate the air conditioner system. Charge the air conditioner system. The correct charge is 1.3 kg (2.9 lb). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.
Note: After the cab has been installed, fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
