Start By:

a. remove air inlet manifold

1. Remove four nuts (1) and the bolts.

2. Remove bolts (2), the washers and gaskets (3). During installation, put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of all the exhaust manifold bolts and tighten them to a torque of 55 ± 7 N·m (41 ± 5 lb ft).

3. Use a hoist and remove exhaust manifold (4). The weight of the exhaust manifold is 43 kg (95 lb) for a 3508, 68 kg (150 lb) for a 3512, and 93 kg (205 lb) for a 3516.

NOTE: For installation of the exhaust manifold, reverse the removal steps.
