Work Code Setup

Usage:

- DNA
The following configuration screen allows the user to edit the work code list and classify the work codes.

The following list contains the actions that can be performed from the "Work Code Editor" screen. The "Work Code Editor" screen is shown in Illustration 1.

  • Add a new category as a delay or production.

  • Add a new work code inside a category.

  • Modify the information about a work code or a category.

  • Delete the selected work code or category.

  • Restore the deleted work code or category.

  • Create the configuration file for the delay codes.

  • Create the configuration file for the production codes.

  • Cancel all the changes since the last save.

  • Commit the changes to database.

  • Exit the "Work Code Editor" screen.

Category

Add

Perform the following steps in order to add a category.

  1. Click the "New category" button in the "Work Code Editor" screen.

    The "Add Category" dialog will appear.

  1. Enter a name for the category in the "Category name:" field of the "Add Category" dialog.

  1. Select a "Category Type" for the new category.

  1. Click the "OK" button in order to add the new category, or click the "Cancel" button in order to exit the "Add Category" dialog without adding a new category.

Edit

Perform the following steps in order to modify a category.

  1. Select the category that requires the modification in the "Work Code Editor" screen.

  1. Click the "Edit Selected" button in the "Work Code Editor" window or double-click the category that requires the modification.

    The "Edit Category" dialog will appear.

  1. Perform the required modifications to the category name in the "Category name" field of the "Edit Category" dialog.

  1. Ensure that the required category type is selected.

  1. Click the "OK" button in order to save the changes, or select the "Cancel" button in order to exit the "Edit Category" dialog without saving any changes.

Work Code

Add

Perform the following steps in order to add a work code.

  1. Click the "New work code" button in the "Work Code Editor" window.

    The "Add Work Code" dialog will appear.

  1. Enter a name for the work code in the "Work code name:" field of the "Add Work Code" dialog.

  1. Enter a Work code number if required.

    The work code number is optional. The work code number can be used in order to classify the work codes for a report.

  1. Select a "Category Type" from the "Category" field for the new work code.

  1. Click the "OK" button in order to add the new work code, or click the "Cancel" button in order to exit the "Add Work Code" dialog without adding a new work code.

Edit

Perform the following steps in order to modify a work code.

  1. Select the work code that requires the modification in the "Work Code Editor" window.

  1. Click the "Edit Selected" button in the "Work Code Editor" window or double click the work code that requires the modification.

    The "Edit Work Code" dialog will appear.

  1. Perform the required modifications to the name of the work code in the "Work code name" field of the "Edit Work Code" dialog.

  1. Perform the required modifications to Work code number.

    The work code number is optional. The work code number can be used in order to classify the work codes for a report.

  1. Ensure that the required type of category is selected.

  1. Click the "OK" button in order to save the changes, or select the "Cancel" button in order to exit the "Edit Work Code" dialog without saving any changes.

Walking Work Code (Dragline only)

The "Walking Work Code" will allow the user to select the delay code that will be used to indicate when the machine is walking. This selection is required for the creation of the delay file.

Set

Click the "Set" button in order to set the selected delay code as the walking code.

Clear

Click the "Clear" button in order to clear the present walking work code.
