Description of Change: An improved stairway mirror is now used in the rear view mirror group. The new mirror has a redesigned back plate. The new back plate provides extra protection for the mirror. The new mirror incorporates an external ring and an internal ring which reinforces the mirror. The new rings increase the durability of the mirror assembly.

The new 275-5588 Mirror As or 277-3431 Mirror As (Heated) are direct replacements for the previously used 5P-6873 Mirror or 221-9265 Mirror As (Heated).

The new 275-5588 Mirror As is effective with the following machines:

275-5588 Mirror As

Please review the following important information regarding adjustment of the new mirror assembly:

Screws (1) must be loosened in order to adjust the mirror.
Do not remove screws (1). An internal retaining ring may separate from the assembly. If the retaining ring becomes loose, a new mirror will be required.
Screws (1) must be sufficiently tightened after the mirror is adjusted. Tighten Screws (1) to the same torque. The heads of Screws (1) should be flat against the ring on the outside of the housing.
