Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the piston pump (left propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Left Propel) - Remove".

2. Remove the piston pump (right propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Right Propel) - Remove".

1. Remove bolt (2) from support (3) on both sides of pump drive (1).

2. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to pump drive (1). Raise pump drive (1) slightly and install suitable wood blocks under the rear of the engine. Lower the engine onto the blocks.

3. Remove bolts (5) from the rear of the engine.

4. Remove bolts (4) from both sides of pump drive (1) and remove both supports (3).

5. Remove pump drive (1) from the machine. The weight of pump drive (1) is approximately 131 kg (288 lb).
