- Raise hood (1) and attach a suitable lifting device to the hood, as shown.

- Disconnect gas springs (2) from hood (1). Lower the hood.

- Remove bolt (3) and install Tooling (A) on both sides of hood (1) .

- Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (1). Remove the hood from the machine. The weight of the hood is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).
