Equipment Lowering with Engine Stopped
Make sure that all personnel are clear of the machine before manually lowering the screed.
- Open the rear access door on the operator's platform. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Access Doors and Covers".
- Press the center of the screw in order to manually release the pressure in the screed cylinders. This will lower the screed.

- Lower the screed to the ground or onto the screed travel lock pins.
