SECOND GEAR - Place the switch in SECOND GEAR for intermediate speed range. Use this gear for most applications of compaction.

THIRD GEAR - Place the switch in THIRD GEAR for high speed range. Use this gear for machine roading only.

Note: When the machine is stopped, select a low gear range in order to prevent damage to the asphalt. Also, this will increase the life of the drive train.

Water Spray Control (16)

NOTICE

Always check the water level in the water tanks before you use the water spray system.

Contaminated water in the water tanks can cause performance problems and reliability problems in the water spray system.

The spray system is activated by a three-position switch on the right console.

Move the switch forward for continuous spray.

Move the switch rearward for intermittent spray.

Move the switch to the center position in order to turn off the water spray system.

In case of freezing temperatures, drain the water tanks. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Water Spray System - Drain" for instructions.
