Axle (Rear) - Remove and Install - 287 Multi Terrain Loaders

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the undercarriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Undercarriage - Remove".

  1. Use bolt (1) to fasten Tooling (B) to axle (2). Attach a suitable lifting device, Tooling (C), and Tooling (D) onto Tooling (B) .

  1. Repeat Step 1 for the other side.

  1. Remove bolts (3) from both sides of the machine. Remove axle (2). The weight of axle (2) is approximately 103 kg (227 lb).

  1. Install Tooling (B) onto axle (2) with bolt (1) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device, Tooling (C), and Tooling (D) onto Tooling (B) .

  1. Place front axle (2) into position and install bolts (3). The weight of axle (2) is approximately 103 kg (227 lb).

  1. Repeat Step 3 for the other side.

  1. Remove bolt (1) and Tooling (B) from axle (2) .

End By: Install the undercarriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Undercarriage - Remove".
