Piston Motor (Generator)

The piston motor is a fixed displacement hydraulic piston motor. The piston motor is mounted on the back of the generator. The piston motor rotates the drive shaft. The drive shaft rotates the generator at 1800 rpm under full load and at 1875 rpm under no load. The speed of the piston motor is controlled by the control valve. At a speed of 1800 rpm, the generator will create a nominal electrical output of 240 volts at 60 hertz. The generator is rated at 23 kilowatts.
