Air Conditioner - Install

Installation

  1. Install air conditioner group (23). Install four mounting bolts (22).

  2. Connect hoses (18) and (17). Connect hose assemblies (20) and (21). These hose assemblies can be accessed through the opening for the panel that is located under the cab.

  3. Close valves (16A) and (17A) on the engine.

  4. Install access panel (17) that is located under the operator's cab. Install four bolts (16). Use two people in order to install the access panel.

  5. Connect harness assembly (12). Install air duct (11). Install air ducts (13), (14) and (15).

  6. Install panel (10) and install bolts (9). Connect harness assembly (7) and install cable straps (8). Install bolts (5) that retain harness assembly (6).

  7. Install upper duct (4) and install screws (3).

  8. Install plate (2) and install bolts (1).

  9. Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.
