Intermediate speed sensors are identified on the bracket by the designation I1 and I2. Output speed sensors are identified on the bracket by the markings "O1" and "O2".

(17) Gap measurement for the speed sensors ... 0.71 ± 0.18 mm (0.028 ± 0.007 inch)

Note: The following alternate method may be used to set the sensor gap. Turn the speed sensor until the tip contacts the gear. Then, back out the sensor by 1/2 turn (180 degrees). Be sure that the sensor does not turn when you tighten the locknut.

(18) Torque for locknut on four speed sensors ... 25 ± 5 N·m (220 ± 45 lb in)

Note: The locknuts for the torque converter speed sensor and the engine speed sensor have the same torque as the locknuts for the transmission speed sensors.

Note: The torque converter speed sensor and the engine speed sensor have the same specifications as the transmission speed sensors.
