Crown Control

Usage:

10B 3RM
The crown control (2) adjusts the screed in order to produce the contour that is desired of the finished pavement. Your screed may be configured with a manual control, a power control, or both types of adjustment controls.

Note: The screed does not require a leading edge crown.

Manual Control (if equipped)

To increase the crown by using the manual control, turn the control lever in the clockwise direction. To decrease the crown, turn the control lever in the counterclockwise direction. Engage lever locking device (1) in order to keep the setting from drifting while you pave.

Power Crown Control (if equipped)

The power crown control (3) is located in the right screed control box. Move the switch upward in order to increase the crown. Move the switch downward in order to decrease the crown.
