IQAN-MDM (Front Side) |
The main display module (IQAN-MDM) is the main unit of the control system. The IQAN-MDM contains the system's application software. Most of the decisions are made here. The communication on the CAN bus is also initiated from the IQAN-MDM.
The front of the IQAN-MDM consists of a control panel with a display and six buttons.
- Graphic display for reading system information with the resolution of 32X202 pixel.
- There are three function keys: "F1", "F2" and "F3". The function for these buttons is dynamic. For example, the function of the buttons change. The current function is stated on the display above the respective button.
- Two arrow keys "Up/Dn" are used to increase/decrease a value or go up/down a step in menus.
- "ESC" cancels a selection or setting without saving the value and returns you to the previous menu.

IQAN-MDM (Back Side) |
The reverse side of the IQAN-MDM consists of the following components:
(1) RS-232 serial port. 8-pin terminal for a PC connection.
(2) The status indicator will light a green color when the module has supply voltage. If the status indicator is out, supply voltage is missing.
(3) Connector for supply voltage, CAN communication and alarm output.
The connector on the IQAN-MDM contains six pin:
- 2 pins for the CAN bus
- 2 pins for supply voltage
- 1 pin for supply voltage real time clock
- 1 pin for a digital alarm output
