New Flow Control Knobs Available To Improve Disassembly {5137}

Field reports indicate that flow control knobs and flow control cables may corrode together. This makes disassembly nearly impossible. The knob and cable could be separated only by breaking the knob. To correct this problem, an improved four ear knob has been made available. The new 111-0160 Knob contains an insert that is made of non-corrosive material. In addition, the fit between the cable end and the 111-0160 Knob has been loosened. When assembling the knob to the cable, use an appropriate anti-seize material. The 111-0160 Knob is a direct replacement for the 5G9855 Knob. The 5G9855 Knob is a component of the 3W5078 Mounting and Valve Group.
