Introduction
This instruction gives the procedure to convert the 2T1725 Control Valve. Also included are hydraulic group and control group conversion procedures. These conversions will eliminate scraper bowl drift.

Do not let any dirt or foreign material get into the hydraulic system during assembly, connection of lines, when components are filled with fluid or during any maintenance operation. Keep the oil in the hydraulic system at the correct level to prevent pump cavitation. |
Control Valve Conversion
Disassembly of Valve
1. Move the machine to a level area, lower the bowl to the ground and park the machine with the engine stopped.
2. Remove two bolts (1) and cap (2).
3. Insert screwdriver thru spring seat (3) into screw (4).
4. Loosen and remove screw (4). Spring (5) is preloaded. Hold pressure against screw (4) when loosening.
5. Remove spring (5), spring seats (3), seal plate (6), spacer (7), and seals (8), (9) and (10).
Spacer (7) and seals (8), (9) and (10) will no longer be needed.
Assembly of Valve
1. Install 2T2733 Seal on the end of spool and into the groove of the valve body.
3. Install 2T2503 Seal in spacer assembly. Seal lip must face valve body when spacer assembly is installed.
4. Slide spacer assembly over the end of spool.
5. Install seal plate, spring seats, spring and screw. Torque screw to 10 N·m (7.4 lb ft).
6. Install 2T2732 Spacers, cap and bolts. Apply 9S3263 Thread Lock to treads before tightening. Torque bolts to 6.8 N·m (5 lb ft).
Hydraulic Group Conversion
1. Remove check valve group (both sides).
3. Disconnect hose assemblies at tube connections (both sides).
4. Connect the tube assembly originally connected to the rod end hose of the cylinder to the head end hose assembly.
5. Connect the tube assembly originally connected to the head end hose of the cylinder to the rod end hose assembly.
Connect 2T2767 Hose Assembly (1) to 6V8628 Elbows (2) using 4J5477 Seals.
7. Install 9J8548 Check Valve Assemblies (3) using 3J7354 Seals. Install check valve assemblies with free flow arrow pointing away from the check valve.
Connect hose assembly (4) to check valve assembly (3).
Control Group Conversion
1. Remove rear cover plate.
2. Remove bolts (1) and washers from cable rod ends.
3. Remove screws (2) and washers from top of control lever plate (3) and remove plate.
4. Remove pin (4) from plate.
5. Remove rod assembly (5) and replace with 2T1165 Lever Assembly.
6. Install pin (4).
7. Drill a 22 mm (.87") diameter hole in bottom plate of control box. Position the hole 83 mm (3.3") toward the operator.
8. Install control lever plate with screws and washers.
9. Install cable rod ends with bolts and washers.
10. Install rear cover plate.
