Fuel Tank - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" for the correct draining procedure.

  2. Loosen clamp (3), remove bolts (2), and channel assembly (1).

  3. Remove bolts (5) and cover assembly (4).

  4. Disconnect hose assemblies (6) and (7).

  5. Disconnect harness assembly (8).

    Counterweight removed for photographic purposes.

  6. Disconnect harness assemblies (9) and (10).

  7. Remove bolts (11), (12), and (13).

  8. Remove bolts (14) and (15).

  9. Open door (16).

  10. Remove nut (17).

  11. Remove nut (18) and strap assembly (19).

  12. Disconnect the hose and remove elbow (20).

    Counterweight removed for photographic purposes.

  13. Remove bolts (21), (23), and bracket (22).

  14. Use two people to remove fuel tank (24). The weight of fuel tank (24) is approximately 33 kg (73 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install fuel tank (24) in the reverse order of removal.
