Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check
Note: Check the hydraulic system oil level with the machine on a level surface.
- Extend the stick and the bucket fully. Lower the boom so that the bucket is rested on the ground. Lower the blade to the ground.
- Open the access door for the hydraulic tank on the 301.6C and the 301.8C.

- Maintain the hydraulic system oil level between the top mark and the bottom mark on the sight gauge.

NOTICE Hot oil can cause personal injury. Remove the hydraulic oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped. Allow time for the hydraulic system to cool. Remove hydraulic oil filler cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.
- Remove the hydraulic tank filler cap slowly in order to relieve any pressure and add hydraulic oil, if necessary.
- Clean the hydraulic tank filler cap. Install the hydraulic tank filler cap.
