CID 0091 FMI 02 Incorrect Throttle Switch inputs
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
- Either both switches have been open for 1.8 seconds or both switches have been closed for 1.8 seconds.
- The ECM has been powered for at least three seconds.
System Response:
The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The throttle switch will be ignored.
- Reduced engine speed
Note: If the engine is being operated above 1000 rpm, the ECM will drop the engine speed to 1000 rpm. If the engine is being operated below 1000 rpm, the ECM will maintain the engine speed. The decelerator pedal modulates to 700 rpm.
