New Connectors are Used on the Gear Shift Harness {1408}

Reference: Refer to Special Instructions, SEHS9615, "Servicing Deutsch HD and DT Style Connectors".
Description of Change: New connectors are used on the gear shift harness. The new connectors improve service life and offer improved connectors.
Adaptable To: The new 202-5426 Connectors are effective with 554 (S/N: 1AM308-UP) Forwarders. The new connectors are adaptable to first production of the machines that are listed.

- Disconnect the connectors from the gear shift valves. Label the connections. The existing harness should be cut approximately 150 mm (6 inch) from the splice, as shown.

- Install six 9X-3402 Sockets onto the cut wires.
- Install the wires into the three 155-2260 Connectors. Install three 8T-8737 Seal Plugs. Refer to illustration 2 and table 2 for locations.
