Battery and Battery Cable - Separate and Connect
Separation Procedure
Start By:
- Tilt the operator platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Tilt".
- Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Turn all switches to the OFF position.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the battery disconnect switch key.
- Disconnect battery cable (6) from battery (4) .

Note: Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the disconnect switch. Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the other cables. Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the opposite terminal of either battery.
- Disconnect battery cable (3) from battery (4) .
- Disconnect battery cable (2) from battery (1) .
- Disconnect battery cable (5) from battery (1) .
Connection Procedure
- Connect battery cable (5) to battery (1) .

Note: Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the disconnect switch. Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the other cables. Do not allow the disconnected battery cables to contact the opposite terminal of either battery.
- Connect battery cable (2) to battery (1) .
- Connect battery cable (3) to battery (4) .
- Connect battery cable (6) to battery (4) .
End By: Lower the operator platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Tilt".
