Platform Tilting
In order to permit easy access of the hydraulic components and the mechanical components, the platform can be tilted forward.
- Open the engine compartment.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the key.

- Remove the four mounting bolts (1) .

- Install two pivot pins (2) .
- Attach an appropriate lifting device to platform (3). Carefully raise the platform.
Note: Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, KENR3584, "Operator Platform - Tilt" for information on tooling.
Note: An optional hydraulic pump is available to lift the platform. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance, "Cab Tilting" for information on the operation of this pump.

- Raise the platform and install two safety pins (4) .

- Carefully release the tension in the lifting device.
- In order to lower the platform, reverse the procedure for raising the platform.
