Ventilation Blower Wheel - Inspect/Clean
- Remove the exhaust stack for the ventilation system.
- Remove the hydraulic lines (1) to the blower motor. Cap the lines to the blower motor.

- Remove the mounting bolts (3) that fasten the blower assembly to the machine. Remove the blower assembly from the machine.
- Remove the bolts (2). Pull the blower wheel out of the housing.
- Inspect the blower wheel for damage. Clean the wheel with nonflammable solvent. Dry the wheel. Replace the wheel if the wheel is damaged. Inspect the hydraulic motor. If necessary, repair the motor.
- Inspect the ducts for the inlet side of the blower assembly. Clean the ducts with nonflammable solvent.
- Install the blower wheel into the housing. Install the housing into the machine. Reconnect the hydraulic lines.
- Install the exhaust stack for the ventilation system.
- Close all of the access covers. Latch all of the access covers.
Note: On the newer machines, the stack will have a manometer that is installed on the stack. The air pressure should be 15 to 23 mm (.6 to .9 inch) of pressure. If the pressure drops below 15 mm (.6 inch) of pressure, perform the service on the unit.
