Boom Telescoping Cylinder Air - Purge
Akan diperlukan pembuangan udara dari silinder pemanjangan boom setelah oli hidrolik diganti. Juga akan diperlukan pembuangan udara dari silinder pemanjangan boom setelah melakukan pembongkaran komponen sistem hidrolik.
Biasanya, sistem hidrolik akan mengosongkan udara dalam silinder pemanjangan boom namun demikian udara dapat saja tetap terjebak. Udara dalam silinder pemanjangan boom dapat menyebabkan gerakan boom yang tidak teratur.
- Apabila diperlukan, panaskan oli hidrolik dengan cara mengangkat boom dan menurunkan boom.
- Pendekkan dan turunkan boom. Posisikan mesin pada permukaan miring. Pasang rem parkir.

- Panjangkan boom sepenuhnya dan pendekkan boom sepenuhnya sebanyak enam kali. Hal ini akan membuang udara dari silinder.
- Gerakkan mesin kembali ke permukaan yang datar dan periksa kondisi gerakan boom.
