- 检查和清理所有零件。 如果任何零件磨损或损坏，则应使用 Caterpillar 新件进行更换。
- 利用工具 (G) 将新唇形密封 (22) 装入轴承托架 (8) 中。 使轴承托架内 1/3 的空腔中充满工具 (H) ，以润滑唇形密封。

- 将轴轭 (13) 和 O 形密封圈安装到铰接驱动轴上。 通过安装螺栓 (11) 和垫圈 (12) 将轴轭固定到轴承托架 (4) 和铰接驱动轴上。 将螺栓 (11) 上紧到 240 ± 40 N·m (177 ± 30 lb ft) 的扭矩。

- 将工具 (C) 固定到轴承托架 (4) 上。 利用适当的起吊设备将轴承托架和铰接驱动轴定位到机器上。 轴承托架和铰接驱动轴的重量约为 56 kg (123 lb)。

- 通过安装螺栓 (9) 和垫圈将轴承托架 (4) 固定到铰接管上。 拧紧螺栓 (9) 至 240 ± 20 N·m (177 ± 15 lb ft) 的扭矩。
注: 确保轴承托架内其余的三个螺栓孔彼此相邻，以便于锁板的安装。

- 将工具 (E) 涂抹到铰接驱动轴端部的花键上。 将轴轭 (7) 和 O 形密封圈安装到铰接驱动轴上。 通过安装螺栓 (5) 和垫圈 (6) 将轴轭固定到轴承托架 (8) 和铰接驱动轴上。 将螺栓 (5) 上紧到 240 ± 40 N·m (177 ± 30 lb ft) 的扭矩。
注: 铰接轴前后的轴轭必须对齐。 两个轭的凹槽必须对齐。 如果轭安装不当，高速下组件内可能会发生振动。
- 将工具 (F) 涂抹到止推法兰 (3) 的螺纹上。 将止推法兰安装到轴承托架 (4) 上。 将锁板 (1) 和适当的 3/4 in 分离杆插入止推法兰内的小孔中，以上紧止推法兰。 关于正确的设定程序，请参阅操作和保养手册, "摆动铰接件 - 调整"。
