前桥行车制动器的间隙调节器位于前桥上。

中心桥行车制动器的间隙调节器位于中心桥上。

间隙调节器补偿行车制动器中的磨损量。 间隙调节器确保行车制动器磨损后,接合行车制动器仍需要同样的时间和同样的力度。

踩下驾驶室中的踏板后,制动器控制阀中的压力经端口 (3) 传递到间隙调节器中。 活塞 (2) 从间隙调节器的中心移开,腔室 (1) 中的机油经过端口 (6) 输送到行车制动器中。

如果活塞达到全行程但行车制动器由于磨损而没有完全接合,则腔室 (5) 中的压力将大于腔室 (1) 与连至行车制动器的管路中的压力。 压差使活塞 (4) 朝间隙调节器的中心移动,接合行车制动器所需要的更多机油流入腔室 (1) 。

松开驾驶室中的踏板时,腔室 (5) 中的压力降为零。 活塞 (4) 从间隙调节器的中心移开,将正确量的机油锁定在行车制动器和腔室 (1) 内。 行车制动器内的弹簧脱开行车制动器。 机油经过端口 (6) 输送到腔室 (1) 内,活塞 (2) 朝调节器的中心移动。 活塞 (2) 保持在中心位置,直到再次踩下驾驶室中的踏板。
