Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the control valve (trailer and towing hitch) from the machine.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

1. Remove three nuts (1) from the solenoids. Remove two coils (2) and two coils (3) from the solenoids.

2. Remove solenoid valve (4) from valve body (6). Remove two solenoid valves (5) from the valve body.

3. Remove check valve (7) from the valve body.

4. Remove backup ring (8), O-ring seal (9), and O-ring seal (10) from the check valve.

5. Remove brake port (11) from the valve body.

6. Remove O-ring seal (12) from the brake port.

7. Remove pressure reduction valve (13) from the valve body.

8. Remove four check valves (14) from the valve body. Remove plug (15) and the O-ring seal from the valve body.

9. Remove plug (16) and the O-ring seal from the valve body. Remove plug (17) and air purge valve (18) from the valve body. Remove three plugs (19) and the O-ring seals from the valve body.

10. Remove three plugs (20) and the O-ring seals from the valve body.

    Note: If necessary, remove the O-ring seals from the plugs.
