Bank Valve - Install
Installation Procedure
- Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Attach a suitable sling through mounting plate (45). Attach the sling to a suitable lifting device and carefully lower bank valve (46) into position. The weight of bank valve (46) is 36 kg (79.3 lb).

- Install three bolts (47) .

- Connect tube (44) and tighten retaining nut (43). Connect three tubes (42) and tighten three retaining nuts (41). Connect hose (40) and tighten retaining nut (39) .

- Connect hose (38) and tighten retaining nut (37). Connect tube (36) and tighten retaining nut (35). Connect three tubes (34) and tighten three retaining nuts (33). Connect hose (32) and tighten retaining nut (31) .

- Connect two electrical connectors (30). Connect hose (29) and tighten retaining nut (28). Connect three hoses (27) and tighten three retaining nuts (26) .

- Connect three electrical connectors (25) .

- Connect hose (24) and tighten retaining nut (23). Connect hose (22) and tighten retaining nut (21). Connect hose (20) and tighten retaining nut (19). Connect hose (18) and tighten retaining nut (17). Connect hose (16) and tighten retaining nut (15) .

- Connect hose (14) and tighten retaining nut (13). Connect hose (12) and tighten retaining nut (11). Connect three hoses (10) and tighten three retaining nuts (9). Install tube (4) but do not tighten retaining nut (8). Refer to step 10.

- Place filter base (7) into position and install bolt (5) and washer (6). Connect tube (4) before tightening retaining nut (3) and retaining nut (8). Connect hose (2) and tighten retaining nut (1) .

- Install the engine oil filter base. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR6241, "Engine Oil Filter Base - Install".
- Install the dust guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Dust Guard - Remove and Install".
