Installation Procedure

1. Place the main control valve in position on the harvester head.

2. Install four bolts and nuts (21) that attach the main control valve to the valve plate.

3. Connect the hydraulic hose assemblies in the following sequence.

   1. Connect five hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (17) .

   2. Connect three hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (18) .

   3. Connect five hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (19). This step is not applicable to the HH75 Harvester Head.

   4. Install two through bolts that attach bypass relief valve (20) to pressure reducing valve (19). Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to bypass relief valve (20) .

4. Connect electrical connector (16), electrical connector (15), electrical connectors (14), and electrical connectors (13) .

5. Connect the hydraulic hose assemblies in the following sequence.

   1. For the HH75 Harvester Head, connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to the valve for the measuring arm. Refer to Illustration 5. Ignore this step for the HH45, HH55, and HH65 Harvester Heads.

   2. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (8). Connect the third hose to the underneath side of valve (8) .

   3. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (9) .

   4. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (10). Connect third hose to the underneath side of valve (10) .

   5. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (11) .

   6. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to tee fitting on end plate (12) .

   7. Connect two large hydraulic hose assemblies and one small hose to valve (7) .

   8. Connect two large hydraulic hose assemblies and one small hose to valve (6) .

   9. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies to valve (5) .

   10. Connect four hydraulic hose assemblies to manifold (4) .

6. Install the lubricating oil tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Lubrication Tank - Install".

7. Install cover (3) .

8. Install cover (2) and cover (1) .

End By: Start the machine and operate the harvester head. Verify that all functions operate. Return the harvester head frame to the horizontal position. Stop the machine. Check for oil leaks.
