Solenoid | |
The solenoids are used to regulate the oil flow to the clutches in the transmission. When a direction and gear are selected by the operator, the ECM activates the appropriate solenoids. Two solenoids are activated for movement of the machine. One solenoid is for direction and one solenoid is for gear. When the solenoid is activated, the solenoid receives voltage from the ECM. No solenoids are activated when the machine is in neutral.
The solenoids have a connector with two contacts. One contact receives power from the corresponding connector contact (31 through 36) of the ECM. The other contact of the solenoids join together. These contacts return to connector contact 39 of the ECM.
