操作员

操作员可观察与运输道路路面状况和卡车地面速度的组合相关的 RAC 事件。 该信息允许操作员降低卡车速度或者操控卡车,以避开路面中的热点。 这允许操作员避开会导致对主要部件(例如轮胎、轮缘、悬架油缸和机架)产生过大应力的情况。 在热点降低速度或转向绕过热点,可延迟机器的使用寿命。 该措施可降低机器的停机时间,提升机器的可用性,从而降低了运营成本。

运营管理

通过了解路面上产生 RAC 事件的位置,操作管理可指派维护设备,以维修导致产生过大应力的热点。

维护管理

维护管理可使用 RAC 数据以确定卡车机架和其他部件(例如轮胎、轮缘、悬架油缸)的有效检查时间表。

轮胎

指示灯指示轮胎的预期寿命被缩短了。 机器维护不良的可能原因列于下表:

  • 卡车行驶的路面速度过快。

  • 卡车过载。

  • 卡车驶过凹坑。

轮胎的过早失效指示可能发生了维护不良。 轮胎的故障可能导致:

  • 轮胎壁分离

  • 胎带分离

轮胎壁分离是因卡车在高于 ton-mph 额定值 (ton-kp/h) 下运转使得轮胎中累积过多热量而引起的。 卡车撞到凹坑上,轮胎切入因过多热量而形成的轮胎臂中。

变速箱

导致预期变速箱寿命的缩短也可能是因路面的不良维护引起的。 RAC 事件通常与每一路面周期中变速箱换档次数增加有关。 每一路面周期中变速箱换档次数的增加是有运输道路上路面状况不良引起的。 热点处的减速会导致过多的降档和升档。
