Sawhead discharge debris may be increased in rough or hilly terrain. Heavier debris has the potential to travel greater distances. Always be aware of the flight angle of the sawhead discharge. Avoid cutting when people, domestic animals, building or personal property are located on the discharge side of the saw. Reposition the disc saw as necessary to avoid possible damage caused by the saw discharge. |

The disc saw can be equipped with two types of teeth: steel beaver teeth and super carbide teeth.
The teeth should be used in severe hi-impact harvesting conditions. The teeth have a high cutting ability. The steel beaver teeth are used under normal conditions. The super carbide option is used in sandy areas that would otherwise shorten the life of standard teeth. The cutting edge of the teeth is retained throughout the life of the teeth.
The disc saw teeth can be rotated in order to prolong service life.
For other information on the disc saw teeth, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Disc Saw Tooth - Inspect/Replace".
