Accumulator arm cylinders control the movement of accumulator arms (4). The accumulator arm cylinders close onto the log. This holds the tree in the head when the head cuts multiple trees.
Cylinders control the movement of accumulator arms (4). The accumulator arms close onto the log. The accumulator arms hold the tree in the felling head when the head cuts multiple trees.
Cylinders control the movement of grapple arms (2). The grapple arms close onto the log during felling of a tree.
Piston motor (5) is mounted to an adapter plate and coupled to the drive shaft by a splined coupler. Hydraulic oil is supplied by a pump that is mounted on the machine.
The disc saw rotates at a constant high speed in order to fell a tree. The felling head is powered through the tree. The head clamps the tree to the head after the cutting is complete.
