Display Module

(1) Red indicator. (2) Amber indicator. (3) Green indicator. (4) Green indicator. (5) Green indicator. (6) "TEST" switch. (7) "DUTY" switch. (8) Indicator (raised stabilizer). (9) Indicator (lowered stabilizer).

Note: The display module that is shown in Illustration 1 is a display module for the type 2 system. The description of the display module for the type 2 system is identical to the description of the display module for the type 1 system.

Indicators (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) show the present status of forward stability of the machine.

The stability of the machine depends on following factors:

  • the weight of the work tool

  • the load

  • the angle of the boom

  • the extension of the boom

  • the position of the stabilizers (if equipped)

When one or more of the green indicators (3), (4) or (5) are illuminated the machine is operating within the limits of forward stability.

When the green indicators and amber indicator (2) are illuminated the limit of forward stability for the machine has been reached. An intermittent audible alarm will sound when the amber indicator is illuminated.

When the green indicators, the amber indicator and red indicator (1) are illuminated the limit of forward stability for the machine has been exceeded. A continuous audible alarm will sound in this condition.

The mode of operation for the system can be selected via "DUTY" switch (7 ) .

If indicator (9) is on and "DUTY" switch (7 ) is pressed and released, indicator (9) will go off and indicator (8 ) will illuminate. When the machine is in this mode the machine is set for operation with the stabilizers in the raised position.

If indicator (8) is on and "DUTY" switch (7 ) is pressed and released, indicator (8) will go off and indicator (9 ) will illuminate. When the machine is in this mode the machine is set for operation with the stabilizers in the lowered position.

Indicators (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) and the audible alarm can be checked and tested by operating "TEST" switch (6).
