(1) Fan speed switch

(2) Temperature control

The heating controls and the air conditioning controls are located on the panel to the right of the operator seat.

Temperature Control

Air Conditioning - Turn fan speed switch (1) counterclockwise to LOW position, MEDIUM position or HIGH position. Adjust temperature control (2) for the desired temperature.

Heating - Turn fan speed switch (1) clockwise to the LOW position, MEDIUM position, or HIGH position. Adjust temperature control (2) for the desired temperature.

Fan Speed Switch - The fan speed switch controls the fan motor. This switch has seven positions.

Off - The fan is OFF.

Low Speed

Medium Speed

High Speed

The temperature control (2) will adjust the temperature of the operator compartment. To produce the most heat, turn the knob all the way to the right. To produce cool air, turn the knob all the way to the left. Turning the knob all the way to the left will produce the greatest cooling effect when the air conditioning is functioning. Position the knob for your comfort.

Heating and Air Conditioning System Operation

The heating and air conditioning system can perform four functions:

Heating - Activate the heating system. Select your desired fan speed. Adjust the temperature control for the desired temperature.

Air Conditioning - Activate the air conditioning system. Select your desired fan speed. Adjust the temperature control for the desired temperature.

Pressurizing - When heating or cooling is not desired, pressurize the cab in order to prevent dust from entering. Turn the temperature control all the way to the left for the most cooling. Select a fan speed. Activate the heater control. The cab will be pressurized without being heated. The cab airflow will be filtered.

Defogging - Activate the air conditioning system. Select a fan speed. Use the fan speed that is needed to remove moisture from the air in the cab. This will prevent moisture from forming on the windshield and the windows. To maintain a comfortable temperature, adjust the temperature control.

Air Vents

In order to adjust the airflow, there are six air vents. Four vents are located in the panel to the right of the seat. Two additional vents are located to the rear of the heating and air conditioning controls. In order to alter the direction of the airflow, the air vents are variable and adjustable.
