The temperature control (2) will adjust the temperature of the operator compartment. To produce the most heat, turn the knob all the way to the right. To produce cool air, turn the knob all the way to the left. Turning the knob all the way to the left will produce the greatest cooling effect when the air conditioning is functioning. Position the knob for your comfort.
Heating and Air Conditioning System Operation
The heating and air conditioning system can perform four functions:
Heating - Activate the heating system. Select your desired fan speed. Adjust the temperature control for the desired temperature. |
Air Conditioning - Activate the air conditioning system. Select your desired fan speed. Adjust the temperature control for the desired temperature. |
Pressurizing - When heating or cooling is not desired, pressurize the cab in order to prevent dust from entering. Turn the temperature control all the way to the left for the most cooling. Select a fan speed. Activate the heater control. The cab will be pressurized without being heated. The cab airflow will be filtered.
Defogging - Activate the air conditioning system. Select a fan speed. Use the fan speed that is needed to remove moisture from the air in the cab. This will prevent moisture from forming on the windshield and the windows. To maintain a comfortable temperature, adjust the temperature control.
