变矩器充油滤清器 (1) 固定在机架组件一侧。 液压油箱的油流向变矩器充油泵段。 来自变矩器充油泵段的油接着流向变矩器充油滤清器。
油流入进口管路 (2) 。 之后这些油会充注壳体 (5) 、滤网组件 (8) 和滤清器滤芯 (7) 的内部。 正常运行期间，油流经滤清器滤芯 (7) 和出口管路 (3) 。 接着油流向变矩器。
滤网组件 (8) 和滤清器滤芯 (7) 会阻止油中的所有碎屑。
如果滤清器滤芯 (7) 塞满碎屑，油的流动阻力将导致壳体内部压力增加。 加压油会使旁通阀 (6) 克服弹簧 (9) 的力而移动。 此外，旁通开关 (4) 会启动，驾驶室中会记录一个警报。 油随后经过打开的旁路阀流向液压系统的其余部分。 如果油不流过滤清器滤芯，油内的碎屑将导致液压系统内的其他部件损坏。
必须采用正确的保养程序来确保滤清器滤芯 (7) 中不会塞满碎屑。 滤清器滤芯 (7) 中的碎屑会阻止干净的油流向液压系统。
