Fuel System Primary Filter - Clean/Inspect/Replace

- Turn drain valve (3) counterclockwise in order to open the valve.
- Drain water and sediment in a suitable container.
- Close drain valve (3) .
- Loosen filter collar (1) .
- Remove the filter (2). Discard filter (2) .
- Clean the inside surfaces of the filter head.
- Inspect the seal in the filter head. Replace the seal in the filter head if the seal is damaged or worn.
- Install a new filter element. Tighten collar (1) in order to secure the filter.
Note: Dispose of drained fluids and used filters according to local regulations.
Note: Do not start the engine until the fuel system has been completely serviced.
