机具和先导/制动泵由两台串联的齿轮泵构成。 两段泵采用公共进口 (1) 。 先导/制动泵 (11) 安装在机具泵 (7) 上。 机具泵为机具系统提供高压油。 先导油泵为转向系统、制动系统和机具系统供应先导油。 连接器 (9) 将机具泵驱动齿轮 (8) 与先导/制动泵驱动齿轮 (10) 相连。

齿轮泵的工作原理

(5、6) 惰轮。 (8、10) 驱动齿轮。 (A) 进口。 (B) 出口。

齿轮泵将轮齿间隙内的油从进口 (A) 送至出口 (B) 。

驱动轴 (4) 转动驱动齿轮 (8) 和 (10) 。 随着齿轮的转动,惰轮 (5) 和 (6) 与驱动齿轮 (8) 和 (10) 啮合。

当轮齿分开时,形成部分真空。 液压油填满进口 (A) 内轮齿间的空隙。 齿轮传送的液压油绕过泵的四周供至出口 (B) 。 随着出口 (B) 上齿轮间的啮合,油被压出轮齿间的空隙。

由于齿轮啮合使轮齿间充满油,因此油不会返回进口 (A) 。
