Steering Check and Combiner Valve - Install
- Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Lubricate O-ring seals with an appropriate lubricant.

Illustration 1 g00567019 - Place steering check and combiner valve (4) into position. Install two bolts (6) and the washers that secure the valve to the mounting bracket.
- Install the two O-rings and connect two hoses (5) to valve (4).
- Install three O-rings and place three hose assemblies (3) into position. Install six half clamps (2), 12 bolts (1), and the washers that secure the oil lines to valve (4).
- Check the fluid level in the steering and brake system tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7064, "Hoist, Steering, and Brake System Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
