Accessory Drive (Front) - Remove

Start By:
- Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove" for the correct procedure.
- Remove the engine oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pump - Remove".
- Remove 2 nuts (2), the washers and guard (1) from the alternator. Remove bolt (3), the washer and guard (4).

Illustration 2 g00564627 - Loosen 2 adjustment nuts (5) in order to remove V-belt (6) from the alternator.
- Remove 4 bolts (7) and pulley (8) from the shaft.

Illustration 4 g00564632 - Use Tooling (A) to force adapter (10) out of the front housing. Tighten the screws evenly. Remove adapter (10) by hand and remove the O-ring seal by hand.
