(1) Chassis Control Module. (2) Right Draft Pin Sensor. (3) Left Draft Pin Sensor. (4) Rockshaft Potentiometer.

This fault code indicates the three-point hitch pins and rockshaft potentiometer circuits have a higher than normal voltage and may be due to an open signal ground or a short to positive voltage supply.

  1. Inspect draft pins, rockshaft potentiometer and connectors C155, C156 and C157.

Expected Result: All connectors are connected.

    • YES, go to Step 2.

    • NO, reconnect all connectors and recheck fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.

  1. Disconnect CCM connector C002. Check for open circuit between C002-8 and C155-A, between C002-8 and C156-A, between C002-8 and C157-B.

Expected Result: There is an open circuit.

    • YES, locate and repair open circuit in CCM harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 3.

  1. Check for short circuit to a positive voltage supply from C155-B, C156-B and C157-C.

Expected Result: There is a short circuit.

    • YES, locate and repair short circuit in CCM harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 4.

  1. Connect C002 to Chassis Control Module. Leave all potentiometer and draft pin connectors disconnected. Turn key start switch ON. Measure voltage across terminals A to B or 1 to 3 of C155, C156 and C157.

Expected Results: The voltage at the connector for the rockshaft is 5 DCV. The voltage at the connectors for the draft pin is 8 DCV.

    • YES, go to Step 5.

    • NO, go to Step 6.

  1. Check the fault.

Expected Result: The fault code has cleared.

    • YES, locate and repair open circuit in CCM harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 6.

  1. Download latest control module software into all control modules.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, go to Step 7.

    • NO, repair is complete. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.

  1. Replace the Chassis Control Module (CCM).

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.

    • NO, go to Step 8.

  1. Install the original CCM.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, original CCM was faulty. Replace original CCM with new CCM. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.

    • NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on the tractor. Clean all terminals on the CCM and reconnect. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
