Item     Component     Operation of Component    
(1)     Pressure control     This component controls the oil flow, the rate of pressure increase, the rate of pressure decrease, and the oil pressure in the clutches.    
(2)     Manual modulation valve (inching)     This component gives the operator the ability to control the creep speed of the machine until the clutch begins to slip. This component also modulates the clutch to full pressure after inching the machine.    
(3)     Selector     This component controls the pilot pressure, the amount of pilot pressure, and the direction of the pilot pressure to pressure control (1).    
(5)     Manifold     This component sends oil to the transmission clutches. This component also sends signal oil to the relief valve and the steering control.    
(6)     Relief valve     This component contains the main relief valve, the lubrication relief valve, the cooler bypass valve, and the lubrication selector relief valve. This component provides extra lubrication to No. 1 and No. 2 clutch during inching the machine.    
(7)     Rotary actuator     This component controls the movement of the rotary selector spool of selector (3).    
(8)     Detent selector spool     This component controls the rotary actuator for speed selection.
