(1) Chassis Control Module. (2) Three-Point Raise Solenoid. (3) Three-Point Lower Solenoid.

This fault code indicates the current is present at the solenoid return input without command signal and may be due to one or more of the internal electronic switching devices shorting or a short to positive voltage supply. This fault code only reports when the startup test is performed (when key start switch is first turned ON).

  1. Disconnect three-point hitch solenoid valve connectors C164 and C165. Leave key start switch turned OFF. Measure voltage at each terminal of both harness connectors to chassis ground.

Expected Result: Voltage is present in the connector terminal.

    • YES, locate and repair short to positive voltage supply in Rear Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, go to Step 2.

  1. Turn key start switch ON. Measure voltage at each terminal of connectors C164 and C165.

Expected Result: Voltage is present in the connector terminal.

    • YES, locate and repair short to positive voltage supply in Rear Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

    • NO, restart engine. Check for fault code F057. If fault code F057 continues to appear, go to Step 3.

  1. Download latest control module software into all control modules.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, go to Step 4.

    • NO, repair is complete. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.

  1. Replace the Chassis Control Module (CCM).

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.

    • NO, go to Step 5.

  1. Install the original CCM.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, original CCM was faulty. Replace original CCM with new CCM. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.

    • NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on the tractor. Clean all terminals on the CCM and reconnect. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
