Rotation is counterclockwise when the pump is viewed from the drive end. Use SAE 10W at a temperature of 49°C (120°F) in order to bench test the pump.

Rotate the pump by hand. The pump must rotate freely.

Bearing Installation Information For The Oil Pump Manifold

1. The distance between bearing joint position (3) and the centerline of the shaft equals 30 ± 15°, as shown.

(4) Install the two bearings into the oil manifold to dimension (B) .

Dimension (B) ... 1.5 ± 0.5 mm (.06 ± .02 inch)

(5) Bore of the two new bearings ... 31.786 ± 0.008 mm (1.2514 ± .0003 inch)

Diameter of the two new shafts ... 31.742 ± 0.005 mm (1.2497 ± .0002 inch)
